HISTORY AND ADVICE

Q. Can you provide me with valuations? or information regarding old patterns or designs?

A. Unfortunately, we are unable to give valuations for any purposes for products manufactured by ourselves. We suggest you contact your local antiques dealer to obtain a valuation. We regret that we cannot advise our customers on purchasing old patterns and their retail value, this is a personal value and is highly subjective.

Q. I have inherited some Royal Winton and the Tea set is missing a saucer, Can I obtain one from the factory?

A. Due to the long history of Royal Winton, and massive range many of the original moulds and patterns are no longer usable. Please feel free to email your enquiry to mailorder@duchess-china.co.uk.

Q. Can you provide me with Historical Background on Potters and History of individual pieces?

A. Due to the large number of staff who have worked for Royal Winton and previously Grimwades, I am afraid individual worker history has been lost along with much historical data.

Q. There has been a breakage during delivery, what shall i do?

A. Simply email us a photograph of the broken item(s) using our Customer Service email address, customerservice@royalwinton.co.uk and set the subject as "breakages" We also suggest you include your order number, name and a daytime contact telephone number.
